..my all time favorite place to eat a quick lunch is undoubtedly - Corner Bakery Cafe, though the menu for an eggeterain like me is limited. :) I like everything about it - the service, the ambiance and especially the food! Yum... Today, I had their Broccoli & Cheese soup - very appetizing & satisfying break from loads of production issues at work. :)

..this is a must visit place if you happen to be in DC. The view of the city from its famous clock-tower is simply amazing & breath-taking.

Today we went for a quick lunch at Chef Geoff's restaurant in DC. I ordered Asparagus Bisque and Sesame Vegetable Dumplings. I like the bisque with a drizzle of olive oil on top and vegetable dumplings had a very interesting taste. (that didn't stop me from finishing them off ;))...more food photos coming up soon.
As soon I saw this Kitchen Aid in macy's today, I remembered DK's post on - 'To Kitchen Aid or not' ;). It is indeed a costly beauty and will have to get it at some point of time. *I hope S is listening*. :D
It feels awesome to be back into sunny Washington DC. The weather was lovely and the result is a stroll on the streets during lunch-time. Incidentally, I reached White House which is just couple blocks away and took this pic (yesterday!)
.. we have worked our ass off, from past year for this day! Our project got deployed yesterday and today we got a confirmation that its a GO! :) Yeh!..I wouldn't have asked for anything else to celebrate my 100 days of photo-blogging ;). The hardships we went through for this was unbelievable. But all well that ends well. Above is my boss message to me @ 1:16 PM.
.. just now came back from my shridi trip with dad! Thanks to the volcano at Iceland, I got 5 extra days of India stay & a quick visit to see Sai baba. This was my only wish which I thought would not be possible in this trip - finally happened! :).
..due to icelandic volcano erruption, my Luftansa flight got cancelled today and I have got 5 more extra days to spend with my family back home !!! :D..currently I am watching my favourite show on TV - IPL ;)
..coming up, for next few days are some random photographs taken during the wedding ceremony. :). All these days, I was spending some memorable time with S's family & I couldn't take my camera to capture the moments!
..marriages in different parts of india distinctively vary by their traditions & customs :)..each one of them have their own unique beauty. the picture above is called 'Vallevaatu' in telugu. We wear this around the bride's body in the second part of the marriage ceremony. I didn't like the store-bought one, so my mom made this home-made!..exactly the way I want. :)
