Day 142: ..sulky Saturday..

..with a lot of production issues at work, my weekends are whirling by, forget about relaxation people!.. Above is the parking ticket for my colleague's car, parked right in front of the office.

  1. Is that right? The ticket is for $1.50! Or is that per minute. Never got a ticket so can't make out. And we don't have much parking meters down in Tx.

  2. Jaya - It is indeed $1.50 per hour. very costly when compared to other parking lots where it is just 7$ for the whole day. But we were there at work for just couple of hours, so went for this!.

So, How do you pay for parking in TX? Do you pay at all? I know it is a tax-free state! Isn't it.

  3. Siri, in the ten years we have lived here, we never paid for parking! I know it sounds strange up North, but we have lots of parking spaces and they are free. The only time someone pays is probably in downtown, but we don't go there often. :)
