Day 100 | "Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties." - Erich Fromm

Day 100 | And just like that, my 2018’s 100 day project has come to an end. What an incredible journey it has been and though there were days I struggled with what to paint next, I somehow persevered! A heartfelt thank you to all of you for supporting me with tons of likes, comments and DMs. Now that the pressure of posting everyday is gone, the frequency of my art posts will reduce as I lay low, understand the watercolor fundamentals and practice a lot more. Or I might just take a break and come back at it, rejuvenated. Who knows. Only time will tell but for now, I am patting on my back at reaching the milestone and completing the challenge. Hurray! Happy Friday y’all. .

Day 98 - 99 | "Creativity is allowing yourself to make mistakes. Art is knowing which ones to keep." - Scott Adams

Day 98 | My 2018 art challenge - 100 Days Of Art With Siri is almost coming to an end and I am feeling so many mixed emotions right now. Being a classic Libran, I can easily fall into a cushy-comfort zone and projects like these help me push my limits. I am also secretly relieved that I can sit back and enjoy the rest of the year. Current mood: happy-sad but mostly sad just like this owl.

Day 99 | We are experiencing more than 90F heat these days and all I can think of is ice cold popsicles 🤤 Inspired from @ohn_mar_win artwork. 🎉

Day 93 - 97 | "Perfection is no small thing, but it is made up of small things." - Michelangelo

Day 93 | The little birdie says a hearty hello to all those who take a moment to like/comment my posts on Instagram and also to those who recently started following the account. Thank you. 😍

Day 94 | Purple Grapes - applying my newly acquired watercolor tonal gradient knowledge from @whatacolor_gal lesson in @watercolorsummit. 😊

Day 95 | I can never get enough of floral doodles on watercolor blobs. 🤭 This piece is inspired by @ohn_mar_win's work. I love all her classes on @skillshare and how vibrant her artwork is. Happy Monday y’all. Hope you have a good one.

Day 96 | Art feeds the soul. Don't you think? 😁 It is important to have a creative outlet to break the monotanity of our mundane lives. It could be in any form or fashion and for me, it was food (blogging) until an year ago. Now, art nourishes my creativity. I am not consistent but I do make sure to get inspired every day and enjoy every bit of my down time, whenever I can afford to.

Day 97 | Fish Watercolor Doodles. 🐠🐟

Day 88 - 92 | "You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have." ~ Maya Angelou

Day 88 | ..and the watercolor blob obsession continues 😊 and this time, the blobs became loose florals.

Day 89“I'm afraid they would droop. See, they're drooping already. Bluebells are like that.” ― Winston Graham (Ross Poldark). Today's bluebell piece is inspired by @theletteringdiaries 😃

Day 90 | Last night, I challenged myself to fill the page with flowers and leaves without stopping to think. Just paint what comes to mind first. Finally, added some pen lines. Such mindless, unplanned sessions is what I like the most. Hope you all have a productive week ahead.

Day 91 | “A tulip doesn’t strive to impress anyone. It doesn’t struggle to be different than a rose. It doesn’t have to. It is different. And there’s room in the garden for every flower. You didn’t have to struggle to make your face different than anyone else’s on earth. It just is. You are unique because you were created that way. Look at little children in kindergarten. They’re all different without trying to be. As long as they’re unselfconsciously being themselves, they can’t help but shine. It’s only later, when children are taught to compete, to strive to be better than others, that their natural light becomes distorted.” ― Marianne Williamson

Day 92 | “Do stuff. be clenched, curious. Not waiting for inspiration's shove or society's kiss on your forehead. Pay attention. It's all about paying attention. attention is vitality. It connects you with others. It makes you eager. stay eager.” ― Susan Sontag
